CBD (cannabidiol) is generally safe and non-intoxicating. While there's no known risk of a fatal overdose, very high CBD doses can cause side effects like dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, or changes in appetite. Your ideal dose depends on personal tolerance.
To stay safe, follow the recommended dosage on your CBD product and consult a healthcare professional, especially for high doses or medical use. The type of CBD product and its concentration matter.
Begin with a low dose, then slowly increase to meet your needs. Stick to dosing guidelines and choose reputable CBD products to avoid unwanted effects.
At Organna, we prioritize top-quality CBD products and your safety. We rigorously test each product batch at accredited third-party labs for transparency and quality assurance. You can access the Certificate of Analysis (COA) for each product you've bought or review the latest batch results before purchasing. Your well-being is our commitment.
Don't give human CBD products to pets without consulting a vet. Here's why:
A. Dosage: Human CBD doses may not be safe for pets due to differences in sensitivity and weight.
B. Ingredients: Some human CBD products contain ingredients that can harm animals, and others may have THC, which is toxic to pets.
C. Quality: Pet-specific CBD products ensure safety and effectiveness, as CBD quality varies.
D. Sensitivity: Pets react differently to CBD due to variations in their biology.
Consult your vet for pet-safe CBD options and follow their dosage guidance for your pet's safety. Monitor your pet's response and stop use if any issues arise.
We have compiled a list below detailing the products and their respective dosages for your convenience, making it easier for you to review them all at once.

Hemp extract is made using the entire hemp plant and its aerial parts. It contains many phytocannabinoids (including CBD), terpenes, and flavonoids.
Hemp Seed Oil is a hemped-derived and often used in many foods, health and cosmetic products. It does not contain CBD and has not been found to hold any medicinal value. Also, Hemp seed oil is an extract of only the hemp plant's seeds
CBD (cannabidiol) and hemp extract are related but not the same thing. Here are the key differences:
CBD (Cannabidiol):
Compound: CBD is a specific compound found in the cannabis plant. It is one of many cannabinoids present in cannabis, and it's known for its potential therapeutic effects.
Extraction: CBD can be extracted from various cannabis strains, including both hemp and marijuana. It's commonly derived from industrial hemp due to its higher CBD content and low THC levels.
Legal Status: In many places, CBD derived from industrial hemp with less than 0.3% THC is legal, while CBD derived from marijuana might be subject to more stringent regulations due to higher THC content.
Hemp Extract:
Composition: Hemp extract is a broader term that refers to any extract derived from the hemp plant. This can include CBD but also other compounds such as other cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and more.
THC Content: Hemp extract should legally contain less than 0.3% THC in the United States. However, it might also contain various cannabinoids, not just CBD. These extracts can be full-spectrum, broad-spectrum, or isolate. Full-spectrum extracts contain multiple cannabinoids, including CBD and a small amount of THC, while broad-spectrum contains various cannabinoids but no THC, and isolates contain only CBD.
CBD is one component of hemp extract, but hemp extract can contain a wider array of compounds from the hemp plant. Depending on the extraction process, it can either retain the full spectrum of compounds or isolate specific elements like CBD.
When you're shopping for CBD products, it's essential to check labels to understand whether it's pure CBD isolate or a full-spectrum/broad-spectrum product containing additional compounds. The quality and effectiveness of these products can vary based on the extraction method and the presence of other cannabinoids and compounds.

Organna CBD is committed to providing full transparency from outlined details on each ingredient used in our formulations to a full lab test on all CBD used in our product manufacturing. The results of a lab test are called a Certificate of Analysis, or COA and are performed by 3rd party certified laboratories.
Coa means Certificate of Analysis - It helps to certify that a manufacturer’s products are grown, extracted, and manufactured to specification. The COA will reveal the exact quantity of each specific cannabinoid, terpene, and other compounds found in each product, such as CBD.
Click here to learn more about What does COA mean.
Organna CBD is committed to providing a fully transparent experience when using and researching our ingredients, product sources, laboratory test results, and everything in between. Pain relief: CBD is known for its potential analgesic properties, offering relief from pain, including chronic conditions such as arthritis.
Anxiety and stress reduction: Some studies indicate that CBD might help reduce anxiety and stress, promoting a sense of calm.
Neuroprotective properties: There's ongoing research on CBD's potential to protect the nervous system, which might be beneficial for conditions such as epilepsy and multiple sclerosis.
Anti-inflammatory effects: CBD may help reduce inflammation in the body, which could be useful in managing conditions associated with inflammation.
Sleep improvement: Some individuals report that CBD helps improve the quality of their sleep, potentially by reducing insomnia or promoting relaxation.
However, the effectiveness varies, depending on the pain type, CBD dosage, and individual response. Consult a healthcare professional for guidance on dosing and product choice to ensure safety and effectiveness.
CBD is available in various forms, including oils, tinctures, gummies, capsules, and topical products like creams and lotions. It's essential to note that the regulatory status of CBD products varies from country to country, and its legal status may differ based on local laws and regulations. Click here to learn more about What benefits can I get from CBD.
Standard drug tests typically check for THC, the psychoactive compound in cannabis, not CBD. However, some CBD products, especially full-spectrum ones, contain trace amounts of THC (usually below 0.3%). These small amounts can, in rare cases, accumulate and lead to a positive THC test result with regular and high-dose use.
The quality of CBD products varies, and mislabeling or inaccurate THC content can occur. To minimize the risk of a positive drug test:
A. Buy CBD from reputable sources with third-party lab testing for accurate THC labeling.
B. Choose CBD isolate or broad-spectrum products with minimal or no THC.
C. Be cautious with CBD frequency and dosage.
CBD's legality varies by location. In the US, CBD from hemp (under 0.3% THC) is legal nationwide due to the 2018 Farm Bill. CBD from high-THC marijuana is subject to state laws. Internationally, laws differ; some countries allow CBD, others have stricter rules. The EU permits CBD under 0.2% THC but rules vary among member states. Check your local authorities for the latest CBD laws as they can change over time.
Full-spectrum and broad-spectrum CBD oils differ in their cannabinoid content and potential effects. Full-spectrum contains various cannabinoids, including a small amount of THC, alongside other natural plant compounds, potentially offering a synergistic effect. However, its THC content might lead to legal restrictions and mild psychoactive effects. Broad-spectrum is similar but with THC removed to non-detectable levels, aiming to provide benefits without THC's effects or legal concerns. Your choice depends on personal preferences, local laws, and therapeutic goals. Checking labels and lab tests is crucial to ensure the product aligns with your cannabinoid needs or THC avoidance.
